Chi sono

Carla Zaffaroni sono un’insegnante di Educazione Artistica, so che questa materia ha cambiato nome, ma io penso proprio che l’arte ci possa educare a vivere il bello, per questo continuo a chiamarla così. Ciò che mi accomuna ai ragazzi che frequento ogni giorno, è il piacere di imparare, di stupirmi, di scoprire, di sperimentare, di trasformare, di inventare, in particolare amo farlo ispirandomi o utilizzando elementi della natura.

Sono nata a Milano il 7/1/1963; e forse proprio perché vivo in una città che non ha ne mare ne monti appena posso scappo e li vado ad incontrare. E’ proprio in questi luoghi che trovo le mie ispirazioni. Mi piace in particolare percorrere le montagne con gli sci e il mare con la barca a vela e nel silenzio o nello sforzo, pensare a progetti e idee creative; anche i viaggi sono per me momenti di crescita personale e creativa.

Amo utilizzare differenti linguaggi e codici e attraverso di essi condividere progetti creativi. Dal 1997, ho organizzato mostre e performance in collaborazione con altri artisti, scrittori, musicisti, attori ma anche con persone che non si erano mai cimentate in percorsi artistici.

L’esperienza del servizio, intesa come volontariato è per me formativa e arricchente: ho svolto molti anni come educatrice presso l’AGESCI e nel carcere di San Vittore dove ho portato il progetto Quotidianamenti e ho tenuto un corso di “Falsi d’autore”.

La mia formazione artistica inizia con l’Istituto d’Arte Beato Angelico di Milano sezione pittura, successivamente ho conseguito il Diploma dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera nella sezione Scenografia. Ho partecipato ai corsi e alle edizioni di libri d’artista di incisione calcografica proposti da Sara Montani e Togo grazie all’associazione Boccafogli dal 2002.

Ho la fortuna di insegnare in contesti molto stimolanti dal punto di vista professionale e umano, (dal 1990 al 2003 alla Scuola Media Statale Sperimentale del Centro Salesiano di Arese per ragazzi difficili a rischio di devianza sociale e dal 2003 ad oggi nell’Istituto Sperimentale Rinascita A. Livi).dove il confronto è alla base della didattica educativa; ne consegue che il mio operare a scuola ha spesso influenzato il mio lavoro artistico e viceversa.

Ho collaborato come autrice alla realizzazione di testi scolastici per le scuole medie di Arte Immagine per la casa editrice De Agostini e Petrini dal titolo:“Artemix”, “Arte Idea, Laboratorio delle competenze” e “Io sono un artista”.

Mi sono occupa di formazione professionale per i docenti collaborando a corsi. Sono sposata con Bruno mio sostenitore e critico e ho due più una meravigliose figlie.

My name is Carla Zaffaroni and I teach art; I know that this material has changed names, but I think that the art could teach us to live beautifully, and for this, it does not change to me. What I have in common with the kids that come every day is the joy of learning, of amazing, of discovering, of experimenting, of transforming, of inventing, in particular I love to be inspired to make something or using elements of nature.

I was born in Milan the 7^th of January in 1963; maybe it is because I live in a city that has neither a sea nor mountains, I run away to meet them just as soon as I can. It is in these places that I find my inspiration. I like, in particular, to go through the mountains with skis and the sea with a ship to sail, and in the silence or in the stress, to think of a project or a creative idea. In addition, these travels are a moment for me to grow personally and creatively.

I love to utilize the different languages and codes, and through them to share creative projects. Since 1997, I have organized shows and performances in collaboration with other artists, writers, musicians, actors, but also with people that have never tried an artistic path.

The experience of service, intended as voluntary is educational and enriching for me: I worked many years as an educator at the AGESCI and in the San Vittore prison, where I brought the project “Quotidianamenti” and I have taught a course of “Falsi d’autore” (False of author). My artistic training began with the art institute of Milan Fra angelic painting section, later I obtained the diploma of fine arts of Brera in the section of the backdrop. I participated in the course and the editions of artist books neision calcographic proposed by Sara Montani and Togo, thanks to the association Boccafogli since 2002.

I am fortunate to teach in contexts very challenging, from a professional and humane point of view (from 1990 to 2003 I worked at the Scuola Media Statale Sperimentale del Centro Salesiano di Arese, difficult for the kids at risk of social deviance, and since 2003 to today  I work in the institute Sperimentale Rinascita A. Livi. Where the comparison is, the comparison is the basis of educational teaching with the result that my work at school has often influenced my artistic work and vice versa.

I have worked as a writer for the production of textbooks for secondary schools of art image for the publishers De Agostini and Petrini: Artemix, Arte Idea, Laboratorio delle competenze (art ideas, laboratory of powers) and Io sono un artista (I am an artist).

I was in charge of training professionally for teachers working in courses. I am married to Bruno, my supporter and critic, and I have two and one (host) beautiful daughters.
